The location was ideal, just a pleasant stroll away from Beatrix Potter Gallery. Plus, it was near the beautiful walled garden.

Shame the bathroom was a bit small.

    fantastic welcome
    comfortable beds

    Perfect for a relaxed getaway

A fantastic welcome from the lady on the bar, I've got to say she. And the food? Tasty local grub, just like my mother used to make, I slept like a baby in those comfortable beds, it was just what I needed.

    Not exactly a budget option.

    cramped room

The check-in experience fell flat-arriving at 3:00 PM, I found the pub closed and had to wander off. The room's layout is cramped, barely allowing room for anything other than the bed, and it's difficult to maneuver with furniture that could use a better arrangement. The en-suite feels too tight for comfort, missing a shelf for toiletries, a bit annoying if you prefer tidiness. The sliding door in the bathroom showed signs of neglect, with dust collecting where it runs. The cold water pressure at the sink is a bit too aggressive, which can lead to some splashy messes.

    snug bathroom

I enjoyed my stay at The Bell, where the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The full English breakfast exceeded my expectations, while the quaint village setting provided peace. The snug bathroom may not suit everyone.

important location, quaint old pub, tasty evening meal

Accessing our room was frustrating!!! It would help if the key safe actually contained the key!!! The bathroom cleanliness definitely needs attention. The tv size is absurd. It was like watching on a smartphone!!!

The cozy atmosphere and lovely staff, and the food was delicious, surpassing our previous visit to norwich. The breakfast was good, with generous portions that kept us full throughout the day.

the wifi was a bit unreliable.

    good breakfast
    small room

The cycling tour brought me back to this

Charming pub, where I felt at home. The secure bike storage was a huge plus, and the breakfast was good. Although the room was quite small, it sufficed for my one-night stay before hitting the trails again.

The room layout leaves a bit to be desired. The wardrobe crammed in a corner feels awkward, and the bed on castors moves far too easily, which can lead to minor accidents. The en-suite is compact without a shelf for toiletries, and the sliding door track could use a thorough cleaning as it had clearly been missed by the cleaners. Not having the wi-fi code in the room means you're left in the dark until breakfast.

The food was really nice, especially the full English breakfast, and the wifi access made things super convenient. I loved relaxing in the garden area while enjoying the live entertainment in the evening. The room felt a bit cramped, but it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment! 😊

    quiet village
    excellent breakfast

The village setting is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a getaway. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and the breakfast was excellent. Tea and coffee in the room was a lovely touch. The hosts left our keys in a box for our late arrival, which showed great communication.
